COVID Death Toll in India: Corona’s speed in the country, death toll crosses two lakhs.
On Tuesday, a sharp rise in new cases was observed, followed by a slight decline in cases of corona infection on Monday.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday, 3,60,960 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
During this period, the number of deaths from Corona in the country has increased to more than two lakhs due to the death of 3,293 people.
COVID Death Toll in India: This is the first time such a large number of deaths and new cases have occurred from Corona.
According to the latest information received by 12 pm, the number of people infected so far in the country has increased to 1,79,88,637 due to the occurrence of more than 3.62 lakh cases.
Currently active cases have increased to 29,78,709 in the country. At the same time, the total death toll from 3,293 deaths increased to 2,01,172.
During this period, 2,62,039 people were discharged from the hospital. Thus, a total of 1,48,07,704 people have been cured of this disease so far.
People’s recovery rate decreased.
With these new cases, the recovery rate of the people has come down to 82.54 percent and the death rate is 1.12 percent. Corona crossed the 20 million mark on 7 August.
Similarly, on 23 August, 30 lakhs, on 11 October 70 lakhs and on 19 December crossed the mark of one crore. Whereas by April 19, 1.50 crore have been infected in the country.
Testing over 16 lakh samples.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 26,09,79,877 samples have been tested in the country so far. 16,58,700 samples were tested on Monday alone.
There are about seventy percent cases in ten states.
In the last 24 hours, out of the new cases of corona reported in the country, 69.1 per cent cases are from the ten most affected states.
These states are Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi Karnataka, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Rajasthan.
Maharashtra recorded the highest number of new daily cases at 48,700. This was followed by 33,551 in Uttar Pradesh and 29,744 in Karnataka.

3,285 people died in the last 24 hours, out of which 895 people are from Maharashtra. This was followed by 381 in Delhi, 264 in Uttar Pradesh, 246 in Chhattisgarh, 180 in Karnataka, 170 in Gujarat and 121 in Rajasthan.
