CRPF Report: 117 Youths Joined Militancy In J&K In 2021

CRPF report: 117 youths joined militancy in J&K this year. So far in the year 2021, 117 youth have been involved in terrorism by various terrorist organizations in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to sources in the Central Reserve Police Force, the terrorists are trying their best to spoil the situation in the state by handing over guns to the youth.

At present, the Central Reserve Police Force is coping with terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and also helping in creating law and order.

At present 48 battalions of the force are stationed in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to CRPF sources, five additional companies of the Central Reserve Police Force are being deployed soon to further strengthen the security arrangements in Jammu and Kashmir.

CRPF report: The process of deploying these companies will be completed in the next few days.

Union Home Secretary reviews the security situation in J&K Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla reviews the security situation in J&K.

He took stock of the security scenario on the situation arising out of select killings in Kashmir in the past.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta, Director General of Police Dilbag Singh, Director General of BSF and CRPF and officers of IB attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir in detail.

The Home Department official said the Union Home Secretary reviewed the functioning of the Integrated Security Network in Jammu and Kashmir considering the steps taken to check infiltration and killings of civilians in the Kashmir Valley.

The situation in Kashmir was also reviewed after the incident of the killing of two helpers of terrorists in Hyderpora, Srinagar.

Let us inform that during the October visit, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had directed to set up an integrated security framework to strengthen the security apparatus so that infiltration from the border can be stopped and selective killings do not happen.

The National Conference of Director General of Police and IG is being held in Lucknow from October 19. In this, the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir will also be discussed.

Security infrastructure in Kashmir has been strengthened since last month.

Under the new security arrangements, intelligence agencies, NIA and other security forces are working to overcome hybrid terrorism.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in a meeting on the security situation in Srinagar last month, had given instructions to stop infiltration and curb hybrid terrorists.
