Dalit Empowerment Program Will Start Soon In Telangana

Dalit empowerment program will start soon, Chief Minister gave the name- ‘Telangana Dalit brothers ‘: Telangana.

A special program is going to start in Telangana for the empowerment of the Dalits of the state.

Under this, financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh will be provided to each beneficiary Dalit family living below the poverty line.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has chosen a new name for the program.

The Chief Minister has chosen the name ‘Telangana Dalit Bandhu’ for the Dalit empowerment program. Soon it will be implemented by the TRS government across the state.

This program will be started from Huzurabad Constituency.

Explain that under the first phase of the Dalit empowerment program, 100 families will be identified in each of the 119 assembly constituencies.

Thus a target has been set to provide financial assistance to a total of 11,900 families. For this, the state government has also announced to release a budget of Rs 1200 crore.

Let us inform you that the Telangana State Government has started many schemes and programs for the development and welfare of Dalits.

Chief Minister Rao has said that it is the responsibility of the government to take society forward.

He said that from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Dalits are the socially and economically exploited class.

For this, in a recent meeting, Chief Minister Rao talked about the presence of 7.8 lakh Dalit farmers in the state and told that they have 13.58 lakh acres of land.

Telangana also has the Rythu Bandhu scheme for farmers, under which financial assistance of Rs 10,000 per acre is provided to farmers in the state every year.

Rural circuits to be developed in Kerala and Bihar, projects got approval.

Several projects in Kerala and Bihar have been approved by Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy for the development of rural circuits in the country.

The Tourism Minister gave this information to Parliament on Monday.

The Tourism Minister said that recognizing rural tourism in the country, the Ministry has planned to develop rural circuits as theme circuits under this scheme.

Its purpose is to bring the rural economy back on track.

According to the minister, the Malanad Malabar Cruise Tourism Project in Kerala has been approved at a cost of Rs 80.37 crore.

He said that on the basis of the rules laid down for this, the ministry has allocated projects for the development of the rural sector in Bihar and Kerala.

An amount of Rs 44.65 crore was allocated for the development of Project Gandhi Circuit.

Bhitiharwa Chandrahiya-Turkauliya in Bihar in 2017-18. 80.37 crore was allocated for the Malanad Malabar Cruise Tourism Project in Kerala.
