Decline In Active Cases Of The Corona In India

Decline in active cases of the corona, to be considered when coming out of restrictions.

Now that the corona infection is decreasing rapidly and the positivity rate is decreasing along with the decline in active cases, then again coming out of the restrictions should be considered.

At least those restrictions should be removed, which are hindering the conduct of economic-business activities or movement.

While some states have gotten rid of the night curfew, some are still continuing it.

This is when the World Health Organization had said long ago that a night curfew is not effective at all in preventing corona infection.

As the night curfew continues in some parts of the country, in some places, only 50 percent of people are allowed in malls, hotels, restaurants, etc.

It is true that the need for masks remains in crowded places, but it is not seen anywhere else. Despite this, in some places, fines are being collected from those who do not wear masks.

Due to this rule, it has become a means of extortion for the policemen and is also working to increase the unhappiness of the people.

It is also strange that some educational institutions are engaged in asking students for a certificate of being corona-free.

All this should stop and the focus should be on how to return to the pre-corona era.

Of course, this does not mean that such a message should be sent to the general public that the necessary vigilance to avoid infection should be abandoned, but it is enough to get rid of unnecessary restrictions as soon as possible.

It should be understood that when the Union Home Ministry issued orders to extend the Corona guidelines for a month on January 28, the circumstances were different and today they are different.

There is no justification for the delay in taking cognizance of the changed circumstances.

We should learn from other countries in this matter. Even more so, because now the possibility of a fourth wave of infection in India is very less.

Health experts are saying that even if she comes, it will be with little effect. It is not right that we do not remove them as quickly as we show in implementing restrictions to prevent corona infection.
