Defense Minister Rajnath Singh Will Visit Ladakh Tomorrow

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Ladakh tomorrow, will take stock of preparations near LAC.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be on a visit to Ladakh tomorrow i.e. on June 27. During this, he will take stock of the preparations near the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

This visit of the Defense Minister will be of two days. During this, he will also inaugurate some roads near LAC.

Let us inform you that since last year there is tension between India and China on the LAC in Eastern Ladakh.

Troops of both the countries have retreated in the northern and southern banks of Pangong Lake, but still, 50-60 thousand soldiers from both sides are stationed on the LAC.

At the same time, India has also done rapid work to improve infrastructure in the areas near the LAC.

Let us inform you that about a week ago, the Defense Minister had gone to Arunachal Pradesh where he dedicated 12 roads to the nation.

During his visit, he had said that strategic roads would not only boost connectivity but would also enable faster movement of security forces along international borders.

The Border Road Organization under the Ministry of Defense is laying a network of roads on the border to facilitate the people living on the Pakistan and China border and to facilitate the movement of troops to the border.

At the same time, according to the data released in Parliament, work is going on on a total of 272 roads in the border states across the country.

It has the maximum number of roads in Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.

Let us tell you that China had built roads up to the border long ago, which helps their army to reach quickly and it is also very beneficial for them.

But, India has also worked rapidly in improving the infrastructure on the border in the recent past.

According to media reports, work is going on on 61 roads in Jammu and Kashmir, 6 in Punjab, 23 in Rajasthan.

Similarly, 3 roads are being constructed in West Bengal, 8 in Mizoram, 9 in Manipur, 2 in Nagaland, and 1 in Andaman and Nicobar.

At the same time, there are mostly all-weather roads, that is, which can be used in all seasons. This will make it easier for the local people.
