DGP Dilbag Singh: 26 Top Terrorist Commanders Killed So Far

DGP Dilbag Singh: 26 top commanders killed so far, the backbone of Terrorism’s broken in Kashmir. Security forces have killed more than 150 militants, including 26 top commanders, in the Kashmir Valley this year. The backbone of terrorism in Kashmir has been broken.

The tightening grip of the security forces on terrorists in Kashmir has also shocked the neighboring country of Pakistan. It is in this effort to somehow infiltrate terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir under the guise of a ceasefire violation. But our vigilant soldiers guarding the border are not letting their plans succeed there either.

This was stated by DGP Dilbag Singh after giving information about the three terrorists including top Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Nasiruddin Lone and the arms and ammunition recovered from them in Handwara. He said that Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army and CRPF have been successful in demolishing the leadership structure of terrorists in the Valley.

This year, around 26 top commanders of various terrorist organizations have been killed in various encounters in the Kashmir Valley. Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Naseeruddin Lone, who was killed in Karalagund in Handwara, was involved in several other killings, including six CRPF personnel. He was a sharpshooter.

He said that the killing of Sajjad alias Hyder in the earlier encounter is also a big success for the security forces. He said that Pakistan has also been stunned by the tightening grip on terrorists in the valley. Here the terrorists are short of arms and cash. In such a situation, Pakistan is trying to infiltrate the terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir by violating the ceasefire.

Due to vigilant army personnel deployed along the border, there has been a reduction of about 50 percent in infiltration this year. This is the reason that Pakistan is now taking the help of Drone to help the terrorists. The DGP also expressed satisfaction that the situation in Kashmir is changing.

People are now beginning to understand the consequences of terrorism. This time the recruitment of local youth has also decreased in terrorist organizations. This year, the security forces prevented about 16 local youths from going on the path of terrorism on time. Counseling them and handed them back to the people. When asked by journalists, the DGP said about the Shopian encounter that the investigation is going in the right direction.

The police are also investigating the matter separately. They have sent DNA samples of three Rajouri youths missing from Shopian and the terrorists killed in the encounter to Milan. People around are also being questioned. The situation will be clear only after the investigation report is received.
