DGP Dilbag Singh’s Press Meet On National Integration Day

DGP Dilbag Singh talking to reporters on National Integration Day. He said better step to surrender in the live encounter, others should follow-police is with you.

Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh said on Saturday that the youth who had chosen the wrong path are preferring to surrender.

This is a welcome move. There is a message for those who are still holding guns. They can still come back and join the mainstream. Jammu and Kashmir Police and Administration will extend their full cooperation.

Talking to reporters on National Integration Day

DGP Dilbag Singh said that after paying homage at the celebrations on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s anniversary, the youth are surrendering during live encounters. In the last month, some youths surrendered to the security forces.

This is a good step in the path of development. These youth, who have come under the wrong path under the pretext of terrorist organizations, can join the mainstream and contribute to the development of the country and the state.

He said that those who are still holding guns in their hands and on the wrong track should also consider getting back. The Jammu and Kashmir Police will help in their return.

DGP Singh said that he is very happy to see Kashmiri youth participating in sports and other recreational activities.

Terrorist hideout demolished in Rajouri

On Friday, security forces demolished a terrorist hideout in the forest of the Gambhir Mughal region of Rajouri district.

Two AK 47 rifles and its two magazines, 270 cartridges of AK-47, two Chinese pistols and two magazines, 75 pika rounds, ten detonators, and 5-6 kg explosives were recovered from this hideout.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajouri Chandan Kohli, on specific information led by a joint team of police and 38 RRs.

DSP Imtiaz Ahmed, SDPO Manjakot Nisar Khuja, and SHO Manjkot Pankaj Sharma, and army officers conducted a search operation. During this time, a terrorist hideout was found in the dense forest adjacent to the Mughal.

It was built underground with the help of stones. It was demolished. Police have registered a case in this regard in Manjakot police station.
