DGP J&K- Search operations will continue against the terrorists, strictly deal with drug addicts: Jammu Kashmir.

Expressing concern over the increasing cases of Corona infection, Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Dilbag Singh has directed the police officers to restore all the facilities mobilized for the quarantine centers last year.

He said that each unit should arrange quarantine centers according to its manpower and ensure compliance with the prescribed covid-19 guidelines.

In addition to continuing the campaign to eradicate active terrorists in Kashmir, he also directed to take strict action against active drug dealers to push the younger generation into drugs.

The Director-General of Police gave these instructions in a meeting at the Police Headquarters, taking stock of the security scenario, preparations for the Darbar Move, and issues related to Corona infection.

The Director-General of Police said that self-discipline is very important to avoid corona infection.

In the current crisis, police personnel and officers not only have to protect themselves from this epidemic but also have to help the common people suffering from it with their own resources.

DGP J&K: All the officers should make the Covid-19 guidelines fully effective in their respective jurisdictions.

Referring to the preparations of the Durbar Move, he asked the officials concerned that all the wings of the police organization should ensure that their offices remain functional in both Jammu and Srinagar.

All necessary steps should be taken for this. Taking stock of the overall security scenario of the state, the Director-General of Police directed to continue the campaign against the terrorists.

He said that no softness should be taken against the terrorists and their underground workers and supporters, as well as against drug traffickers and anti-social elements. No one should be allowed to spoil the atmosphere.

He also instructed the concerned officials to resume the pending process of formation of women vessels and marginal vessels during this period and said that the recruitment process should be completed with complete transparency soon.
