Durga Puja 2022: PM Modi prays to Goddess Mahagauri on Maha Ashtami, and wishes the countrymen.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated on Twitter on the occasion of Durga Puja Maha Ashtami.

The PM has tweeted in Hindi, sharing praise dedicated to Goddess Mahagauri, the eighth form of Navdurga.

While tweeting, PM wrote infinite wishes of Maha Ashtami. May Maa Mahagauri bring wealth, prosperity, and success to everyone’s life.

Durga Puja 2022: PM Modi highlighted the worship of Mahagauri while sharing a hymn on Goddess Mahagauri on the eighth day of Navratri.

According to Hindu mythology, Goddess Shailputri was extremely beautiful and at the age of 16 she was fair in complexion. Because of her fair skin, she came to be known as Goddess Mahagauri.

She is also compared with the white flower of conch, moon and kund. Her vehicle is Taurus, hence she is also known as Goddess Vrisharudha.

Goddess Mahagauri is depicted with four hands, holding a trident in one right hand and Abhayamudra in the other right hand. She has a Damru in one left hand and Varadamudra in the other left hand.

It is believed that Goddess Mahagauri forgives all the sins of the devotees. Goddess Mahagauri is a symbol of purity, peace, and purity.

Durga Puja 2022: According to the legends, on this date, Goddess Mahagauri killed the Chand-mund demons.

Durga Ashtami started on 02 October at 06:47 PM and will end today, Monday, 03 October at 04:37 PM.

Sandhi Puja timings are from 04:13 PM to 05:01 PM. Coconut is offered to Maa Mahagauri on the eighth day of Navratri.

It is to be known that earlier on the 6th day of Navratri, PM Modi had worshiped Maa Katyayani, the warrior avatar of Goddess Durga, and wished for confidence in everyone’s life.

On Maha Saptami, the seventh day of Navratri, the PM worshiped Maa Kalratri.

Sharing a eulogy dedicated to the goddess, the PM had tweeted in Hindi. He had wished people a Happy Maha Saptami in a tweet.
