Used to make liquor like toddy by bringing intoxicant powder from Telangana, illegal liquor business going on in front of the police post.

A major success has been achieved in the raid of Madhya Pradesh Police in Banswara regarding the illegal liquor business.

The business was operating from a house built opposite a police post in Banswara and the police remained unaware of it.

Instead of giving information to the Banswara district police, the Madhya Pradesh Police raided and nabbed one of the accused.

The one who revealed that he was involved in illicit liquor under the gang and used to make and sell liquor like toddy by bringing intoxicant powder from Telangana.

The police are now trying to reach the entire gang through this accused.

Last month, the Thandla police station of the Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh was investigating the death of people due to spurious liquor in Mandsaur.

In which the involvement of a person named Babulal of Kushalgarh in Banswara district came to the fore. Babulal originally hails from Adveli village in the Nalgonda district of Telangana.

This surprised the MP Police as toddy trees were not found in Banswara and the border districts of Rajasthan in Madhya Pradesh and in such a situation how toddy liquor was being made and sold here.
