The Enforcement Directorate (ED) seized a helicopter and 101 plots of land in Mumbai in connection with a money laundering case involving real estate company Unitech.

The value of the seized property is estimated to be around Rs 81 crore. So far, assets worth Rs 431 crore have been attached in the case.

The ED said in a statement on Wednesday that orders were issued under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) to confiscate the properties of the Shivalik Group and its associate companies.

King Rotors Air Charters Private Limited’s helicopter and plots located in the Shanta Cruz area of ​​Mumbai are valued at around 81.10 crores.

According to ED, during the investigation, it was found that Unitech Group illegally transferred an amount of about Rs 574 crore to Shivalik Group from which it had purchased helicopters and plots.

Unitech owners Sanjay Chandra and Ajay Chandra have allegedly illegally remitted over Rs 2,000 crore to Cyprus and the Cayman Islands.

Swami Ramdev reached the Supreme Court in the matter of remarks on allopathy, challenged the cases registered against him.
