Eight People Were Killed, More Than 20 Injured In Tumkur

Eight people were killed, more than 20 were injured when a bus full of passengers overturns in the Tumkur district of Karnataka.

A painful road accident has come to the fore near Pavagada in the Tumkur district of Karnataka. It is being told that eight people have died after the bus overturned.

While more than 20 have been seriously injured. Giving information about the incident, Tumkur police said that students are also among the injured. Whereas, eight people have lost their lives.

Actually, the accident happened in Palavalli Kette village near Pavagada town. The private bus was going from Pavagada to Hosakote. Then the driver of the bus lost control and the bus suddenly overturned.

Eight people have died in the accident. At the same time, after getting information about the incident, the police admitted the injured to Tumkur Hospital.

A preliminary investigation has revealed that the accident was caused by the negligence of the driver and speeding. According to the police, more than 100 passengers were on board the bus.

At the same time, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu expressed grief by tweeting about the accident.

He tweeted and wrote that Deeply saddened to hear about the loss of lives in a bus accident in Tumkur, Karnataka.

Cyclone Asani threatens Andaman and Nicobar Islands, warns fishermen not to venture into the sea

Andaman and Nicobar Islands are also at risk of the arrival of the first cyclone Asani over the Bay of Bengal.

The administration has also issued a warning to the fishermen on Saturday and appealed to them not to venture into the sea.

According to the information, from March 19 to 22, the cyclone may hit the Gulf.

“Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea during the period of Cyclone Asani,” the Andaman and Nicobar Administration tweeted on Saturday morning.

Cyclone to hit Andaman and Nicobar Islands on March 21

IMD had said in the weather forecast that a low-pressure area would form over the Bay of Bengal by the morning of March 20 and intensify into a cyclonic storm on March 21.

After that, it can move back and forth. It will reach Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Bangladesh-North Myanmar coasts on March 22.

Significantly, in view of the forecast, the island administration has activated emergency control rooms.
