Encounter between DRG and Naxalites in Chhattisgarh, five killed in retaliation including prize women Naxalites.

About five Naxalites, including two women, are reported to have been killed in two separate encounters between Sukma security personnel of Chhattisgarh.

It is being told that this encounter took place in the forests adjacent to Sukma and Chhattisgarh-Telangana border.

According to official statements, a woman Naxalite with a reward of five lakh rupees has been gunned down by security personnel in Sukma district.

The entire action of the encounter has been carried out by the Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel of the Sukma, Dantewada, and Bastar districts.

At the same time, the second incident of encounter took place in the early morning in the forests bordering Chhattisgarh and Telangana.

According to Bastar range Inspector General of Police Sundarraj P, the team of Special Anti-Naxal Greyhound Unit of neighboring Telangana had received information about the movement of Naxalites.

There was information that 40 armed Maoists of Maoist leader Sudhakar are present in the area.

After which anti-militancy campaign was started in the forests of Bijapur in Chhattisgarh and Mulugu in Telangana.

Lt Gen Manoj Pandey will be the next Vice Chief of Army Staff, approval from the government.

The country awaits the appointment of the next Chief of Defense Staff.

According to sources, the government on Tuesday approved the proposal to appoint Eastern Army Commander Lt Gen Manoj Pandey as the next Vice Chief of Army Staff.

Sources told DNN that the Eastern Army Commander will be the next Vice Chief of Army Staff. Gen Pandey will succeed Lt Gen CP Mohanty, who retires on January 31.

General Pandey, who took part in these operations.

General Pandey was commissioned into the Corps of Engineers (The Bombay Sappers) in December 1982. He is a graduate of Staff College, Camberley (United Kingdom).

He attended the Higher Command Course at Army War College Mhow and National Defense College (NDC) in Delhi.

During his 37 years of distinguished service to the nation, Pandey has actively participated in Operation Vijay and Operation Parakram.
