Enemy’s conspiracy to disturb Republic Day will be foiled by strict vigilance in Jammu and Kashmir: IG DK Bura.

Border Security Force Jammu Frontier IG DK Bura has said that solid preparations have been made along the international border to thwart terrorists who are plotting to disturb the peace on Republic Day.

Keeping in mind the intelligence information about border infiltration, mischief with drones, the level of security will be made more secure by making Republic Day safe.

Enemy’s conspiracy to disturb Republic Day will be foiled: Addressing a press conference at the Frontier Headquarters in Jammu.

The IG said that we have received strong information that there may be a conspiracy from Pakistan to infiltrate, send weapons, narcotics by drones to disturb Republic Day.

In such a situation, due to two weeks of high alert on the border, joint patrolling and drone, anti-tunnel action with the army, security forces are going on.

He said that along with the additional deployment of border guards in some parts of the Line of Control along the 192 km IB, the help of modern surveillance is also being taken to increase the level of vigilance.

In response to a question, the IG said that every aspect of the challenge of fueling terrorism with drones has been considered and prepared to face it.

In such a situation, drones of Pakistan will not be allowed to enter Indian territory to do any nefarious incident.

He said that information about the conspiracy of terrorists is being received from intelligence agencies. However, since last week there has been no enemy movement across the international border.

He said that along with the soldiers, officers of the Border Security Force are also giving full cooperation in ensuring security in the forward areas.

DIG PSO SK Singh, DIG SPS Sandhu were also present in this press conference along with IG.

Maharashtra tourist dies in Gulmarg, hotel fires.

A tourist from Maharashtra died of a heart attack in Gulmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. The deceased has been identified as a 65-year-old Tejpal Ambalal resident of Mumbai.

He developed chest pain at the hotel from where he was immediately brought to the First Aid Center in Gulmarg but the doctors declared him brought dead.
