According to the report of the news agency, the hearing on the bail plea of ​​Sanjay Raut was held on Friday in a special court in Mumbai.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) opposed the bail plea of ​​Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut during the hearing.

It is to be known that earlier this month, the Shiv Sena leader had sought his bail in the special court in the Patra Chawl money laundering case.

It has been said in the bail application on behalf of Sanjay Raut that this case has been filed against him out of political vendetta.

Sanjay Raut (Rajya Sabha Member of Shiv Sena) said in his petition that he was targeted to suppress the opposition of the ruling party.

On this bail plea, the ED on Friday filed its written reply before Special Judge MG Deshpande.

Although the details of the reply of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) are not yet available, sources said that Sanjay Raut’s bail plea has been opposed in the reply filed by the ED.

The ED says its probe is related to alleged financial malpractices in the redevelopment case of Patra ‘Chawl’ and financial transactions related to Sanjay Raut’s wife and alleged associates.

It is known that there were about 672 houses spread over 47 acres of land in Siddharth Nagar, Goregaon. It is known as Patra Chawl.

In the year 2008, the Maharashtra Housing and Development Authority (MHDA) took steps towards its redevelopment.

Guru Ashish Construction Private Limited (GACPL) was entrusted with the responsibility of its redevelopment project. It was a subsidiary of Housing Development and Infrastructure Limited (HDIL).

Later there were reports of alleged glitches in the project. Alam is that it has been 14 years since 2008 but the people of Patra Chawl have not got their flats.
