James Anderson, the most experienced bowler of the English team, still remains intact. He took four wickets for 66 runs in 16 overs.

The middle-order batsman could not take advantage of the good start of 59 runs against New Zealand.

The team had fallen only 2 wickets for 92 runs and after that, the team’s score became seven wickets for 100 runs.

Jack Crowley was dismissed after playing an innings of 43 runs, after which the team lost the wicket of Ollie Pope.

Former captain Joe Root returned after scoring 11 runs and then the team disintegrated from here. Root’s wicket fell for 92 runs, then Alex Lees was out on the score of 96.

Immediately after this, when the score was 98 runs, then captain Ben Stokes was out. When the team completed 100 runs, then Jonny Bairstow and Matthew Pats lost their wickets.
