External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s Big Statement On China

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s big statement on the border dispute with China, said – we have our own conditions.

It has been more than two years since the skirmish between the Indian and Chinese forces in the Galvan Valley, but till now this issue remains a major subject of dispute between the two countries.

Due to this, there has been a lot of sourness in the relationship between the two countries.

Regarding this issue, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has said that this issue is still a complex problem between the two countries.

But as far as solving this problem is concerned, yes, we want to solve this issue but we will solve it on those terms.

We want one that does justice to our claim and is fair, equitable, and based on mutual consent.

S Jaishankar said we do not want to solve it on those terms in which any country says that it is its solution and we have to accept it.

He said that this cannot happen. A border dispute can be resolved only if it is based on mutual consent and does justice to our claim.

No country can tell us that this is the solution.

He said that this is a very complex issue in which the land dispute is also involved. People have strong feelings attached to it. Along with this, there is also a lot of history and politics attached to it.

We have had a border dispute with China since 1958. We are talking for 60 years.

Now what we have to manage, for this, first of all, should be to ensure that the actual border is not tampered with, but unfortunately, China does not want to maintain the status quo.

China keeps on acting unilaterally. Obviously, we do not approve of this. And this is the reason why our army is deployed in defense of our land.

You all know what happened two years ago. Despite this, we want a solution, but for this, if any country says that this is the solution and we have to accept it, then it will not happen at all.
