Farooq Abdullah lashed out at Pakistan, said- We are not a puppet, stop sending terrorists to India. Farooq said on the statement of Pakistan’s foreign minister supporting the secret declaration – We are accountable to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan should stop sending terrorists to India

National Conference President and Srinagar MP Dr. Farooq Abdullah said that we are not a puppet of anyone. Pakistan has always criticized the mainstream political parties of Jammu and Kashmir, but now suddenly we have liked it. Recently, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi supported the declaration of six political parties uniting against the Centre’s decision to abolish Article 370.

Reacting to this, Farooq said that I want to make it clear that we are not someone’s puppet. Neither we in Delhi nor anyone else across the border is a puppet. We are accountable to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and are working for them only. On cross-border terrorism, Farooq said that I want to tell Pakistan that they should stop sending terrorists to Kashmir. We want an end to the bloodshed in Jammu and Kashmir.

All the political parties of Jammu and Kashmir are committed to fighting in a peaceful manner for their rights, including the non-constitutional way that was taken away from us on 5 August 2019. He called for starting a dialogue between India and Pakistan and said that it would be good for everyone. People on both sides of the Line of Control are being killed when the ceasefire is violated. It should stop.

Six political parties, in a statement on 22 August, demanded the reinstatement of Article 370. The joint statement of the leaders is called the secret declaration second. The statement was issued after a meeting at Dr. Farooq Abdullah’s house on Gupakar Marg in Srinagar. It said that while making constitutional changes in Jammu and Kashmir, the Center should have taken the people into confidence.
