It seems that the agenda of the Hurriyat Conference is now in his hands. The only difference is that they are not referring to Kashmir independence and Jihad in Kashmir.

Before August 5, 2019, National Conference President and former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah always restore the constitutional position of pre-1953 in Jammu and Kashmir to solve the Kashmir problem, which he called Greater Autonomy, the only practical Used to tell the solution.

The two had never spoken of completely ending Pakistan’s claim on Kashmir.

The NC and PDP have always asked for votes in the name of Autonomy and Self Rule. Both these parties used to assure the people that the election is undoubtedly for the solution of road, electricity, water, and local administrative problems.

If we come to power, we will insist on the Government of India to implement our political agenda along with resolving these issues. However, these parties never mentioned these issues after winning the election.

According to Kashmir affairs expert Salim Reshi, the leaders of the National Conference and PDP were well aware that the common Kashmiri had understood that they would not get autonomy and self-rule, but they used to talk about them to keep them awake.

Had it not been so, when he was in power, he would have taken any step to fulfill his political agenda. Common Kashmiri has neither had nor much to do with these issues.

The state of Jammu and Kashmir was reorganized into two Union Territories after the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act was implemented by the Central Government on 5 August 2019.

Along with this, political agendas like Autonomy, Self Rule and the question mark on the accession of Kashmir to India were also ended.

In Kashmir, the people took this change and in an effort to make themselves stand out in the changed situation, NC, PDP along with other parties of similar ideology formed the People’s Alliance for Group Declaration.

These parties made the restoration of Article 370 and Article 35A the constitutional position in Jammu and Kashmir before 5 August 2019 as their political agenda.

They were thinking that people would support them and in the hope that they entered the DDC elections. In the DDC Chunarwane, the common Kashmiris have expressed that they have forgotten the Atonami and Self Rule.

They do not mean anything from Articles 370 and 35. They just want to move forward in the path of development and prosperity in a democratic system.

Kashmir affairs expert and senior journalist Shabbir Hussain said that the DDC elections have given NC, PDP and People’s Conference their right.

Sajjad Gani Lone has accepted the truth that his politics will no longer run with NC and PDP. That is why they have broken ties with the gang.

He will walk alone or together with his party will do mainstream politics with a clear agenda.

He would not be averse to being called a man of Delhi, because he knows that if he is to remain in the hearts of Kashmiris, he will have to follow the agenda of honesty.

Even then, she has to remain as Delhi’s captive. The NC-PDP have also understood the truth but they have no political agenda to connect Kashmiris with themselves.

The Hurriyat is completely lost at this time. In such circumstances, these parties believe that by propagating Kashmir like a dispute, where a section in Kashmir can be associated with itself.

On the other hand, Pakistan will also cite these, saying that two big political parties of Kashmir today also talk about talks with Pakistan, calling Kashmir a dispute.

In a way, they also want to maintain their importance in the politics of Kashmir through Pakistan, so they are insisting on dialogue with Pakistan. This is their political compulsion.
