In Israel, preparations for the fifth election within three years have intensified.
The ruling coalition will this week bring a fast-track bill to dissolve Parliament. This was announced by Welfare Minister Meir Cohen on Tuesday.
Earlier on Monday, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced that he was unable to reconcile the different parties with eight ideologies and that the country would now hold new elections.
Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had been engaged in an effort to topple the government since he came to power a year ago.
The rift in the ruling coalition came this month after differences emerged over the granting of special legal status to West Bank refugees.
At the same time, the leader of the coalition’s main ally and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid will take over as the country’s caretaker prime minister until the elections are held.

Also predicted that no one is going to get a clear majority.
Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Justice Minister Gideon Saar, current partners in Bennett’s coalition, said they would not allow Netanyahu to return at any cost, facing trial on corruption charges.
