Female militant Priyanka arrested with foreign currency in Latehar, Jharkhand: TSPC Jharkhand.

Latehar Police Station Police of TSPC Jharkhand on Saturday arrested a youth from Chattahi Chowk District Headquarters, along with a woman militant who arrived to collect levy in the name of the militant organization.

Levy 24 thousand 300 rupees from the arrested militants, 10 mobile phones, 11 identity cards of Rakesh Ganju alias Viraj, land-related papers, bank passbooks.

ATM cards, Nepal currency, Naxalite literature, TSPC militants’ notebooks, and Rado watch were recovered.

The woman militant caught by the police was identified as Priyanka Devi alias Sushma Devi, the wife of Rakesh Ganjhu alias Viraj, the commander of the militant organization TPC-TSPC and the youth was identified as Kamlesh Yadav.

Latehar SDPO Virendra Ram told the press conference on Saturday that the police had received secret information that TSPC commander Rakesh Ganjhu alias Viraj Ji is demanding levy from several traders and contractors of Lateha.

The levy is sending its people to recover.

On this information, Latehar police station caught two people, including a woman, from Chathani Chowk while taking action.

A search of Priyanka’s spotlight on her rented house in Ranchi led to the recovery of Naxalite literature, numerous identity cards, land papers, bank passbook, and ATM cards made in the name of Rakesh Ganjhu.

SDPO said that Priyanka Devi alias Sushma Devi has worked for Maoist, JJMP, Aman Sahu gang, TSPC militant organization since 2004.

Female militant Priyanka Devi has also been jailed in 2011 and 2014 from Barwadih police station in connection with Maoist and Chatra police station in the kidnapping case in 2019.

Priyanka is a resident of the Kunda police station area of ​​Chatra. At the same time, Kamlesh is a resident of Durua of the district headquarters.

The team formed under Latehar Police Inspector cum Police In-charge Amit Kumar Gupta included Pooni Saraj Kumar, Women Station In-charge Sunita Kumari, and others.
