FIFA Suspends The Football Federation Of India

FIFA suspends the Football Federation of India, now India will not be able to host the Under-17 Women’s World Cup.

The World Football Governing Body (FIFA) has suspended the National Football Federation of India with immediate effect.

FIFA took this decision due to undue interference from third parties and violation of rules.

The suspension of the All India Football Federation will prevent the country from hosting the Under-17 Women’s World Cup to be held on October 11-30.

Violated the rules

FIFA said the suspension was with immediate effect and was in “serious violation of FIFA rules”.

FIFA said the suspension would be lifted once the order to set up a committee of administrators to assume the powers of the AIFF Executive Committee is revoked and the AIFF administration has gained full control over the day-to-day affairs of the AIFF.

FIFA suspends the Football Federation of India: FFI will not be able to host Under-17 Women’s World Cup.

FIFA said that the Under-17 Women’s World Cup cannot be held as planned in India at present.

FIFA is in constant touch with the Sports Ministry of India and is hopeful that the matter may still yield a better outcome.

Already warned.

Let us tell you that earlier this month, the World Football Governing Body (FIFA) threatened to suspend the Football Federation of India (AIFF).

This warning was given after the Supreme Court’s direction to hold elections to the AIFF. However, the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) has started the election process.

Elections are to be held on August 28. FIFA says it is against any third-party interference in the operation of its member units.

Former captain Baichung Bhutia called FIFA’s ban harsh and said – India has a chance.

Former Indian football team captain Bhaichung Bhutia has reacted to the ban imposed by FIFA on the All Indian Football Federation.

He has said that this decision of FIFA is very harsh. However, at the same time, he also said that this is an opportunity to strengthen the system of the game.

FIFA has imposed this ban due to third-party interference in the All Indian Football Federation, which has cost India the loss of hosting the Under-17 Women’s World Cup.

This World Cup was proposed in India from October 11 to October 30.
