After the new law of Love Jihad came into force, a case was registered at Deorania police station on Saturday night. It is believed that this is the first lawsuit of the state under this law.

On the charge of love jihad, the Deorania police have registered a lawsuit under the section of Prohibition of Prevention of Law Act 3/5 of Uttar Pradesh. The accused is absconding from home.

Efforts are being made to arrest him. The aggrieved side alleges that the youth of another religion wanted to marry under the pressure of conversion.

The girl, who lives in a village in Deoria, was acquainted with Uvash. Both studied in the same college till inter. After completing studies there three years ago, the girl started studying in another college.

Despite this, Uvash continues to harass her. According to the woman, for a year, She had been under constant pressure to convert and marry him.

Initially, she kept postponing. I was afraid that the matter would be slanderous if ignited. Later, he protested and threatened to abduct.

According to the woman, she told this to her kith and kin, after which an attempt was made to convince the accused, but his audacity increased.

In order to avoid controversy, the girl’s father married her elsewhere in June. Even after the woman is married, Uvash would harass her kith and kin. He used to get indecent after reaching home the next day.

The girl’s father says that he came home on Saturday as well. Started saying that call your daughter-in-laws home. she has to marry me.

You will have to change your religion, only then you will be able to save your life. After this, he started threatening to kill himself by showing him.

Around eight o’clock at night, the father of the girl reached the police station and told the whole incident. After this, at around 11 pm, the police filed a lawsuit against him against the Law of Unlawful Prohibition of Prohibition Act 3/5 and hit his house.

According to SP Dehat Sansar Singh, a case has been filed against the accused Uwash Ahmed under the Prohibition of Unlawful Religion Prohibition Act. The police of the police station are constantly raiding to catch the accused.

Let us tell you that in Uttar Pradesh, the law has come into force for fraud, fraud, or forcible conversion.

Now it will also be mandatory to apply for conversion at least 60 days (two months) before the former District Magistrate of the concerned Additional District Magistrate under the prescribed format.

In the application form, it has to be declared that the person concerned wants to convert by himself, with his free consent and without any pressure, force, or temptation.

Within 21 days from the date of making the declaration, the person concerned must present himself before the District Magistrate and establish his identity and confirm the contents of the declaration.

The District Magistrate will give permission after conducting a police investigation into the true intention, purpose, and cause of the conversion.
