Flight Of Planes Banned In Delhi On 26 January

Flight of planes banned in Delhi from morning to evening on 26 January: Republic Day Parade 2022.

In view of Republic Day on 26 January, all agencies are alert regarding security in Delhi.

DIAL, which manages the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), says that as part of the security arrangements, NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) has been issued for IGI.

During the NOTAM period, the movement of non-regular flights (non-scheduled flights) will be prohibited during this period.

The movement of regular flights (scheduled flights) will remain unaffected. Apart from this, NOTAM will not apply to helicopters of the Indian Air Force, BSF, and Army.

According to the NOTAM issued for the IGI, this NOTAM will also not apply to government aircraft or helicopters carrying the governor and chief ministers.

Under the NOTAM, the movement of aircraft will be banned from 10.15 am to 1.15 pm from January 19 to January 24.

Apart from this, movement will be restricted on January 26 from 7 am to 1 pm and then from 2 pm to 6.30 pm.

Notam has also been issued after January 26 for the day of the Beating Retreat ceremony i.e. January 29. During the Beating Retreat, the movement of aircraft will remain suspended from 2 pm to 7 pm.

At the same time, flying drones in Delhi has also been banned in view of Republic Day.

In fact, this time on the occasion of Republic Day, after receiving inputs of terrorist attack, Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana has banned the flying of drones light aircraft, etc. in Delhi.

This ban will continue from January 22 to February 15. If anyone violates this or has flown a drone etc., then a case will be registered against him under section 188 of the IPC.

The Commissioner of Police has said that doing so will be punishable under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). A case will be registered against those who violate or do this order.
