The ASDMA said that 56,91,694 persons were affected in 30 districts of Assam due to floods. Also told that 113 people have lost their lives due to floods. A total of 626 relief camps have been set up for flood victims in the state, with 1,56,874 victims taking refuge.

While the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been deployed at eight locations in Assam, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) ) Is stationed at 40 different locations in the state. ASDMA, SDRF, NDRF, Circle Office, Civil Defense, IWT, and local people are involved in rescue operations as per flood reports.
