Foreign Minister of Nepal holds a meeting with S Jaishankar, calls for the early delivery of the Covid vaccine.

Foreign Minister of Nepal, Pradeep Kumar Gowali, Foreign Minister of India S.K. Met Jaishankar at Hyderabad House in Delhi today. Let us know that the Foreign Minister of Nepal is visiting India for a three-day visit.

Here, India has made it clear that there will be no talks on the border dispute arising out of the new map of Nepal. On the other hand, Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava had said on the previous day that our position is clear on border-related issues.

He also said that the border dispute is two different things. It is clear from Srivastava’s statement that there will be no talk on border disputes in the JMC meeting. Let us tell you that this is the first time after Nepal has published a disputed map when a Nepal minister is officially visiting India. Relations between the two countries are expected to improve during this visit.

Significantly, Nepal had released the new map last year to the Indian territory of Kalapani, Limpiyadhura, and Lipulekh, after which tensions between the two countries increased. Not only this, but Nepal had also closed its border with India in the Corona period, due to which the relations between the two countries were soured.
