Former NCB Officer Sameer Wankhede Received Death Threats

Former NCB officer Sameer Wankhede received death threats, police engaged in an investigation of the matter.

Former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede has reportedly received death threats on social media. A Twitter handle named Aman had messaged Sameer Wankhede on August 14.

In the message, the person wrote that you know what you have done, you will have to suffer for it, will finish you.

After this Sameer Wankhede contacted Goregaon Police and they are in the process of registering an FIR. Wankhede’s statement was recorded yesterday.

In fact, he had filed a case against NCP leader and former minister Nawab Malik on the same day itself. He received this threat the very next day after registering the case.

It is being told that Sameer Wankhede has given this information to Goregaon Police Station.

Along with this, he has also shared the message that he has received with the police, after which the police started investigating the matter.

In his complaint, the former zonal director of NCB told the Mumbai Police that the account through which the complaint was given was created on August 14 itself.

Wankhede told the police that the Twitter account from which the threat was received had zero followers and it is suspected that the account was created to make threats.

In fact, the tension between Nawab Malik and Wankhede was seen in Bollywood since the alleged drugs case surfaced last year.

Sameer Wankhede had earlier also filed a complaint with the Maharashtra Police alleging that his activities were being monitored.

Sameer Wankhede had said in his complaint that several people dressed in civil clothes were chasing him.

According to preliminary reports, there is information about getting many weapons and cartridges including AK 47 from the boat. Several agencies including police have reached the spot.

According to the report, this boat is a speed boat of Oman Security. However, there was no man in the boat. The boat has come to India while drifting.

Generally, there is a possibility of getting a Pakistani boat in this area, which is used for espionage.

However, in this case, there is no concrete information about whether the boat has come from Pakistan or not. More information is awaited on this matter.
