France Asks Its Citizens To Leave Afghanistan Amid Taliban Threat

France asks its citizens to leave Afghanistan amid Taliban threat.

In view of the increasing threat of the Taliban in Afghanistan, many countries have withdrawn their citizens.

Meanwhile, France has also called on all its citizens to leave Afghanistan on Tuesday. The Taliban have captured many areas of Afghanistan amid the withdrawal of American troops.

The French embassy in Kabul said in a statement: “The government will arrange a special flight from Kabul on the morning of 17 July to take the entire French community to France.”

He said that no one would be required to make any payment to board the plane.

The French embassy has formally recommended all French nationals to take this special flight or leave the country on their own, the statement said.

The embassy made it clear that it would not be able to ensure the safe departure of civilians staying in Afghanistan after 17 July.

The Taliban have launched a nationwide offensive since early May following the withdrawal of US-led foreign forces from Afghanistan.

After 20 years of international military intervention, foreign forces began their final withdrawal from Afghanistan in early May and are expected to be completed by the end of August.

Afghanistan continues to see an escalation in violence. The Taliban has intensified its offensive against Afghan civilians and Afghan security forces.

The Taliban have taken control of several districts across the country.

The US intelligence assessments suggesting that the country’s civilian government may be under the terrorist group within months of the withdrawal of US forces.

US diplomats have no fear of the Taliban, 1400 US officials present in the Kabul embassy.

The Taliban is expanding rapidly in Afghanistan. With the capture of one district after another, he has now started attacks on Ghazni and Kandahar as well.

Even in such a situation, there is no panic and fear in the US Embassy in Kabul. The business is going on perfectly normally.

Here, work has been started expeditiously for the issuance of visas to interpreters and other Afghan colleagues.

General meeting of officials begins in an embassy.

From Sunday, the officials here have made preparations to take visa-related interviews. Every day two hundred people getting visas will be interviewed here.

The general meeting of officials has also started in the embassy. Scott Weinhalt, the co-chief of the US mission, said that some people came up to me and asked if our job would continue.

I said that we have opened the embassy with a firm intention and will run it properly.
