Garmin has launched its Vivosmart 5 fitness band in India for Rs 14,990.

The fitness band includes specifications such as body battery energy monitoring, stress tracking, respiration, hydration logging, and 24/7 heart rate, fitness age, bright display.

The Garmin fitness band comes in Mint, White, and Black color variants. It will be available for purchase from June 10 on Garmin Brand Store, Amazon, Flipkart, and Synergizer.

The fitness tracker comes with a 0.41 x 0.73-inch OLED touchscreen, which offers an 88 x 154-pixel resolution.

According to the company, it offers “66% more screen space with larger text and the option of a smoother touchscreen and button interface.

It comes with a polycarbonate frame and silicone straps. The Vivosmart 5 fitness tracker is compatible with Android as well as iOS.

It is equipped with health-related features like body battery energy monitoring, stress tracking, respiration, hydration logging, and 24/7 heart rate.

The fitness tracker also comes with a new feature called “Fitness Edge”, which refers to the fitness age of the user. It is based on the user’s VO2 max, resting heart rate, and body mass index (BMI).

As for sports mode, it comes with options like walking, pool swimming, cycling, yoga, and cardio. The company has claimed that Vivosmart 5 can give a battery life of up to 7 days.
