Gavaskar Said Indian Team Could Not Trap Joe Root

Gavaskar said the Indian captain could not trap English captain Joe Root. The first two days of the Test series being played between India and England were the names of the visiting team.

The England captain, who scored a century on the first day, scored a double century on the second day. Making his 100th Test match memorable by scoring 218 runs.

Know what the former Indian veteran Sunil Gavaskar believes about this English captain’s innings. Gavaskar told Joe, it was fantastic to see Root scoring a double century in his 100th Test.

The confidence with which he went to the crease was worth watching. If a batsman has scored a century in his last two Tests, his confidence is bound to increase.

Roots are ripe now and do not fall into any trap. The English captain was playing ball in the middle of the bat from the beginning and began to find gaps that his team’s opener could not.

Team India’s star fast bowler fit, can return in the third test

The Indian cricket team faced difficulties on the first two days of the first match of the four-match Test series against England.

The Indian bowlers were unable to dismiss the England team in two days of play. On the second day the team scored 555 runs for 8 wickets. The good news for India is that fast bowler Mohammad Shami is fit.

Fast bowler Mohammed Shami, who was injured during batting during the first Test match on the tour of Australia, has returned to the field on fit.

On 19 December, in the second innings during the Adelaide Test match, Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins was hit by Shami’s wrist.

Due to his hand fracture, he had to leave the tour and return to India. He was not picked in the first two Tests against England due to injury.

Mohammed Shami made a tweet on Friday in which he has seen bowling. Shami is currently training with Navdeep Saini at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

Saini received a groin injury in the last match of the series played against Australia in Brisbane.

According to the media, Shami’s wrist is perfectly fine now. He will be given light net practice in the next few days. At this time, he has been advised to throw 18 balls every day.

It has been spoken to throw only 50 to 60 percent of the thrust. If he has not been bowling for almost half a month, then the workload will be increased gradually.

There are still about two weeks (the day-night test in Ahmedabad on February 24) to play the Pink Ball Test match. In such a situation, it is expected that Shami will be fit before the match and will be available for selection.

He has started bowling which means that the wrist is perfectly fine. He has no injuries of any kind. This picture will be clearer by the end of next week.
