Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat asked the Indian Army and Indian Air Force, standing in eastern Ladakh, to give a befitting reply to China, to face the challenge of the enemy and weather from Bullish Housley.

General Bipin Rawat, who is on a two-day visit to Ladakh, visited East Ladakh and got information about the current security situation there and met the Army and Air Force personnel.

Earlier, the Chief of Air Staff of the Indian Air Force along with the Chief of Defense Staff along with Air Chief Marshal RK Bhadauria reached the forward areas of East Ladakh.

These senior officers visited Daulat Beg Oldi, the advance landing ground of the Air Force close to the actual control, and inspected the preparations along with the Thais and Nyoma areas.

At the same time, Air Chief Marshal also paid tribute to the martyrs on the war memorial.

According to military sources, the Chief of Defense Staff, who arrived in Leh on Monday, left for the technical Ladakh airport in eastern Ladakh.

He held a meeting with field commanders in East Ladakh in the afternoon to inquire about the steps being taken to meet the current challenges of the region.

During this, he got information about the preparations of the Air Force here at some stations of the Air Force.

Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat held a meeting with senior officers of the Army’s Northern Command at the Army’s Fourteen Corps Headquarters in Leh last evening.

During this time General Rawat was informed about the ongoing action towards strengthening the army in Ladakh. General Rawat will leave for Delhi later Wednesday afternoon after boosting the army in front of China in East Ladakh.
