General Naravane, Chief Of The Army Staff Is On Singapore Visit

General Naravane, Chief of the Army Staff is on a visit to Singapore, he paid tribute to the soldiers who died in World War II at the Kranji War Memorial.

Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane arrived in Singapore on a three-day visit. On the first day of the yatra, Army Chief General MM Naravane laid a wreath at the Kranji War Memorial.

During this, he paid tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Second World War.

In fact, from April 4 to April 6, Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane will be on a three-day visit to Singapore.

The aim of the visit is to strengthen the existing strong defense ties between India and Singapore.

During his visit, General MM Naravane will meet senior military and civilian leadership of Singapore, according to an official statement from the ministry.

Let us tell you that during his visit, General Naravane will hold a meeting with the Defense Minister of Singapore, the Chief of Army Staff, and other senior dignitaries.

He will discuss ways to enhance India-Singapore defense ties.

According to the Army, the COAS will also visit Singapore’s Infantry Gunnery Tactical Simulation and Wargame Centre, Regional HADR Coordination Centre, Info Fusion Center, and Changi Naval Base.

Lt Gen Manoj Pandey may be the new Army Chief, MM Naravane at the fore in the competition for the post of CDS.

Lieutenant General Manoj Pandey, the Deputy Chief of the Army Staff, could be the next Chief of Army Staff. Current Army Chief Manoj Mukund Naravane is retiring at the end of this month.

After him, Lieutenant General Manoj Pandey is the senior-most officer in the Army.

General MM Naravane is considered to be at the forefront of the competition for the post of Chief of Defense Staff (CDS).

In fact, due to the retirement of some army officers during the last three months, Lt Gen Pandey has become the senior-most officer after the army chief.

Lt Gen Raj Shukla of Army Training Command has just retired on 31 March. Some of the other senior-most officers had retired in late January.
