GHMC Election: Only 0.25% Vote Changes Mathematics, Otherwise, the Bharatiya Janata Party would have been the  Largest Party in the municipal corporation.

While the results of the Greater Hyderabad Corporation Election (GHMC) came to light, the BJP  is looking upbeat despite winning fewer seats.

while the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Anxiety has increased.

Looking at the results of the Greater Hyderabad Corporation election, TRS became the largest party due to just 0.25 percent votes while BJP had to come second.

Looking at the vote sharing of the Greater Hyderabad Corporation election, it shows that the TRS had a vote share of 35.81 percent in the election while the Bharatiya Janata Party was not far behind with 35.56 percent.

In such a situation, if the BJP had got 0.25 percent more votes, then the electoral review would have changed considerably.

This small visible difference has played a big role in the election result. In this election, TRS fielded 150 candidates, but it won 55, while Bharatiya Janata Party won 48 out of 149 BJP candidates.

Actually, Neredmet’s election result has not come yet. Similarly, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, led by Asaduddin Owaisi, had high hopes from this election but has won 44 seats.

Big jump in BJP’s vote share

The result was seen in the same way as the BJP had expected in the Greater Hyderabad Corporation election. There has been a big improvement in BJP’s vote share in the election.

The vote share of the party which got only 10.34 percent votes in the last elections has now reached 35.56 percent. At the same time, the vote share of Telangana Rashtri Samiti has fallen by 8 percent.

While TRS’s vote share was 43.85 percent earlier, it has gone up to 35.81 percent in this election.
