Goyal Called Upon Industrialists To Come Forward To Help Startups

Goyal called upon industrialists to come forward to help startups, suggested creating special funds. Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal has asked the industrialists of the country to come forward to help startups.

The Union Minister says that with the initial help, new entrepreneurs will get the benefit they desperately need. In this direction, big industrialists can set aside a part of their assets to invest in new businesses.

Addressing a webinar, Goyal suggested that various large entrepreneurs can come forward to help startups by forming groups. An initial fund of Rs 10,000 crore can be created for this.

New entrepreneurs need help from experienced people. Referring to the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs in start-ups, the Union Minister said that the lack of initial funding is the biggest obstacle that needs to be overcome.

Talking to big entrepreneurs to find a solution, Goyal said that they can jointly create a fund, through which it will be easier to help.

There will be no government intervention in this. With the help of startups, it will be possible to make the country a large technology-driven economy.

He said that Indian entrepreneurs have the ability to create big companies like Google, Microsoft, and Intel. There is huge potential in many fields like chip technology, design, urban mobility, cybersecurity, and drones.

It is noteworthy that the Narendra Modi government at the center is making various efforts to make the country a $ 5 trillion economy. The contribution of startup companies is going to be the most important in achieving this goal.
