Gujarat: Sharpshooter Of Chhota Shakeel Gang Arrested

Gujarat: Sharpshooter of Chhota Shakeel gang arrested with intent to kill BJP leader. Himanshu Shukla, DIG, Gujarat ATS, was informed by sources on Tuesday evening that a sharpshooter of Chhota Shakeel gang was staying in a hotel in Ahmedabad.

Based on this tip-off, a joint team led by Himanshu Shukla and DCP Dipen Bhadran of Crime Branch raided a room of Venus Hotel in front of Advance Cinema Hall, Ahmedabad’s Relief Road area, around 1 pm. During this time the sharpshooter was arrested. He came with the intention of killing BJP leader Gordhan Zadafia.

The police were informed that there are two people in the room, in such a situation, one person was being looked around after searching for the other, that the person in the room was removing the pistol from his back pocket in front. Later the policemen arrested this man. Further inquiries revealed that this person, whose name is Irfan Sheikh, is from Mumbai and is a sharpshooter of underworld kingpin Chhota Shakeel. In further questioning, Irfan also confessed that he had come to Ahmedabad yesterday morning and had also done Reiki by visiting the Gujarat BJP headquarters.
