Unknown gunmen killed three Iranian border guards on Friday near Iran’s northwestern border with Turkey. This information was given by the Iranian state media.

Iran’s official news agency IRNA said the three soldiers were killed in a skirmish when gunmen tried to enter Iran’s West Azerbaijan province, about 650 kilometers (400 km) northwest of Iran’s capital Tehran. Miles).

Intruders were trying to enter Iran’s border

The report stated that two other border guards were injured and the intruders suffered heavy losses.

West Azerbaijan’s province borders both Iraq and Turkey and the report does not say which country the intruders came from.

There are occasional battles between the Iranian army and Kurdish separatists in the region. At the same time, the extremist militant Islamic State group also has influence here. The intruder is related to ISIS.

There have been clashes on the border before

Hassan Dib said, the lockdown is not a solution to the corona virus, but it is a chance to increase the preparedness of the country’s health sector.

In the past few weeks there has been a sharp increase in cases of corona virus infection.

The number of Covid-19 infections in Lebanon has exceeded one lakh, while the death toll has reached 800. The country has been fighting against the virus since 21 February.
