There are different stories about the history of Halloween. Some people believe that it started about 2000 years ago. Then in Northern Europe, it was celebrated as ‘All Saints Day.

On this day the souls of the dead used to come to earth and trouble the common people. To drive away and frighten people, people used to wear scary clothes and burn evil powers at places burning fires.

At the same time, some farmers believed that evil spirits could come to the earth and damage their crops, so they themselves used to wear scary clothes to scare them and keep them away from the crop.

Halloween Day 2022: Celebrate.

There is an old belief that on Halloween, people make Jack O Lanterns in their homes, and on the basis of that, they give a scary look to the house.

Pumpkin is considered auspicious in western countries, so on this day people hollow out an orange-colored pumpkin and make a nose, eyes, and mouth in them.

Light a candle inside the mouth of the pumpkin and hang it on the door or on the tree. This prevents evil spirits from entering the house. After Halloween, these pumpkins are buried in the ground.

Apart from this, neighbors give each other candy and chocolates as gifts so that the sweetness remains in the relationship.

Although people wear new clothes at festivals, this is the only festival in which old and dirty clothes are worn.

To celebrate this day, people gather at one place and enjoy games and dance till late in the night.
