Haveri of Karnataka is ready to fight the third wave of Corona, becomes the first district to start preparations.

The country is alert from now on to deal with the possible third wave of Corona. Meanwhile, the Haveri district of Karnataka has become the first district to start preparations to fight the third wave.

Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai, while interacting with the media, claimed that Haveri has become the first district in Karnataka, which has already started preparations to fight a possible third wave of Covid.

Bommai, the minister in charge of Haveri, further said that to fight the third wave, we are organizing check-up camps in all public health centers to scan children for any possible disease or malnutrition.

These camps will run till July 31 and 2.7 lakh children will be involved in these camps. He further informed that apart from the general health check-up, children will also be tested by pediatricians.

Talking about this campaign, Bommai said that Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and State Health Minister Dr. K Sudhakar have appreciated the initiative and are planning to implement it across Karnataka.

He said he would inaugurate a camp in Udupi on June 28.

Delta variant reaches Karnataka.

Let us inform that according to the Union Health Ministry, Karnataka has registered 3328 new corona cases, out of which 6524 discharges and 114 deaths have been registered.

Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K Sudhakar said on Friday that the delta plus variant of the virus has been reported. There’s no need to panic.

The Minister informed that two cases of the Delta Plus variant have been registered in the State.

The first case has been reported from the capital Bengaluru and the second from Mysore. However, both have mild symptoms. While in Mysore one has fully recovered.
