HDFC Bank Net Profit Of 9096 Crores In Q2

HDFC Bank net profit of 9096 crores in Q2, the consolidated income also increased.

HDFC Bank’s consolidated net profit jumped 18 percent to Rs 9,096 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year ended September 2021.

The country’s largest private sector bank had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 7,703 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.

The bank said in a statement on Saturday that its total consolidated income increased to Rs 41,436.36 crore during the quarter as against Rs 38,438.47 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The bank has made a net profit of Rs 8,834.3 crore after taxation of Rs 3,048.3 crore on a single basis. This is 17.6 percent more than the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

HDFC Bank net profit of 9096 crores: On a standalone basis, the bank’s net profit stood at Rs 7,513.1 crore in the year-ago quarter.

The bank’s single income increased to Rs 38,754.16 crore in the second quarter from Rs 36,069.42 crore in the same quarter a year ago, the statement said.

The bank’s consolidated net profit for the April-June quarter of 2021-22 in Q1 increased by 14.36 percent to Rs 7.922.09 crore.

The bank had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 6,927.24 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago.

However, the bank’s net profit declined in the quarter ended June as compared to the previous March quarter. It was Rs 8,433.78 crore in the January-March quarter.

The bank’s standalone net profit stood at Rs 7,729.64 crore for the quarter ended June.

It was Rs 6,658.62 crore in the same period a year ago, as compared to Rs 8,186.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2021.

The total income of the bank increased to Rs 36,771 crore in the April-June quarter as compared to Rs 34,453 crore a year ago.

The country’s largest bank will conduct mega auctions of commercial and residential properties of defaulters to recover dues.

Under this, the auction of plots, residential, industrial, and commercial properties will be done by the bank.
