High-Level Meeting Chaired By Amit Shah On J&K

High-level meeting chaired by Amit Shah, NSA Doval, IB Chief, RAW chief, and DGP of Jammu and Kashmir were present.

A high-level meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

It was attended by NSA Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Intelligence Bureau Director Arvind Kumar, RAW chief Samant Kumar Goel.

CRPF Director General Kuldeep Singh, and Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh. This high-level meeting took place in the Union Home Ministry.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also attended the meeting. If sources are to be believed, along with reviewing the ongoing development projects in Jammu and Kashmir.

It is being said that the framework for new projects will be decided. Other top officials including the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir also attended the meeting.

High-level meeting chaired by Amit Shah: In the meeting, Shah directed to expedite the work on important and prestigious projects under the Prime Minister’s Development Package.

He also praised the state administration for taking the benefits of government schemes to the general public in a transparent manner.

It was told from the state how all the development works were geo-tagged and their information was made available to the common people.

In the meeting, the Home Minister directed expedite the work of the 3,000 MW Pakal Dul and Keeru Hydroelectric Project and to start work on other 3,300 MW projects immediately.

Shah said that the use of state-of-the-art technology in farming, at least one agro-based industry in every district, and work should be done towards increasing the production and quality of apples.

Along with this, the scope of MNREGA should also be increased.

It is worth noting that in the last few days, there has been a stir once again regarding Jammu and Kashmir. Manoj Sinha is holding regular meetings.

Recently, the deployment of paramilitary forces has increased in Jammu and Kashmir, especially in the Valley, during the last few days.

In the past, the Lieutenant Governor had said that this deployment was normal and said that these security forces had gone for elections in different parts of the country.

Now returning and going to their respective places of original duty.

Besides this, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha had said that it is a normal process to increase the deployment of security forces in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of Shri Amarnath Yatra.

He had dismissed the rumors of something big, saying that nothing was going to happen in the state for which additional contingents of security forces would have to be deployed from different parts of the country.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha had also said that after the completion of the process of delimitation, assembly elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha had bluntly said that neither there is going to be a bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir nor anything big is going to happen for which the deployment of additional security forces is required here.
