Home Ministry Will Soon Review The Activities In Naxal Areas

Home Ministry will soon review the activities going on in Naxal affected states, the strategy will be ready.

In the midst of the uprooting of Naxalites and progressive improvement in the affected districts of the country, the Ministry of Home Affairs will soon review the Naxal activities with the affected states.

Sources said that Home Minister Amit Shah will discuss with the Chief Ministers of such states the ground situation and formulating a new decisive action strategy against the Naxalites.

Various infrastructure schemes like the need for roads in 35 districts affected by Naxalite violence will also be discussed.

Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Kerala are the states affected by Naxalite violence.

Security officials say that in terms of Naxalite violence, incidents of violence have come down by 30 to 25 percent in most of the districts. In these districts, 85 percent of Naxalite violence was seen.

Police remand of three terrorists extended for two days.

Three International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF) terrorists Vicky Bhutti, Malkit Singh, and Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi, were arrested in connection with the recovery and explosion of tiffin bombs sent from Pakistan, were produced in Ajnala court on Monday evening.

Simultaneously, the top court refused to grant any relief from the sentence awarded by the lower court.
