Hundred rewarded Naxalites have surrendered in Dantewada. Dantewada became the first district in the country to surrender 100 rewarded Naxalites in a year.

Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh has made a significant achievement in the case of the surrender of Naxalites. Here in the last year, hundred rewarded Naxalites have surrendered.

A total reward of more than one crore 85 lakh was declared on them. Dantewada Police is conducting a Lone Varratu (homecoming) campaign for the surrender of Naxalites.

Under this, a total of 381 Naxalites have surrendered in a year, but the surrender of 100 rewarded Naxalites is considered an important achievement.

To free the Dantewada district from Naxalism, SP Dr. Abhishek Pallav prepared the plan of the Lone Varratu campaign.

Before starting the operation, the police prepared the horoscope of the Naxalites of the district. Their names, addresses, relatives were tabulated. There are names of 15 hundred Naxalites in this table.

SP Dr. Abhishek Pallav said that when the police conducted a socio-economic survey of all 381 Naxalites who surrendered, it was found that only 32 of them had Aadhar cards.

The police got everyone’s Aadhar card made. Police are doing all the work including opening their ration card, voter ID card, job card, bank account.

Atal houses have been approved for many people. They have been linked to the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Yojana.
