ICC Ranking T20: Number One Suryakumar Yadav, Ishaan Kishan, And Hooda Made Entry

ICC Ranking T20: Number one Suryakumar Yadav, Ishaan Kishan, and Hooda made a long jump in the new year as well.

India’s wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan has gained in the latest ICC T20 rankings.

Ishan Kishan has jumped 10 places to reach the 23rd position, while Deepak Hooda, who scored a blistering 41 off 23 balls in the very first match of the year against Sri Lanka, has also joined the top 100.

Hooda has secured the 97th position with a jump of 40 places. Ishaan played an inning of 37 runs in the first T20 match.

Last year, number one batsman Suryakumar Yadav failed in the first T20 match against Sri Lanka, yet he continues to be number one.

ICC Ranking T20: Surya had scored only 7 runs at Wankhede. Aside from Surya, there is no Indian in the top 10.

The ranking of the new T20 captain Hardik Pandya has also improved. He has now reached the 76th position in the bowling rankings.

From Sri Lanka’s point of view, Wanindu Hasaranga continues to top the bowlers’ rankings. He took 1 wicket for 22 runs against India in the first T20 match.

He also played an inning of 21 runs while showing his hand in batting, which has made him move up 2 places to the 5th position in the all-rounder’s rankings. No Indian bowler is in the top 10 in bowling.

Now Team India has to play two more T20 matches against Sri Lanka. In such a situation, India’s batsmen and bowlers have a chance to improve their position in the coming days.

Once again there will be a tug-of-war between India and Pakistan, 2023 Asian Cup fixtures announced.

The Asian Cricket Council announced on Thursday the tournaments will be held in 2023-24. A total of 145 matches, including both men’s and women’s events, will take place during this time.

The 2023 Asian Cup will be held in September this year and competed in the ODI format. However, the suspense remains over who will host the Asian Cup.

Pakistan holds the hosting rights, but ACC President Jay Shah last year said the Indian team would not travel to Pakistan and the tournament would be held at a neutral venue.

Former PCB director Rameez Raja hit back following Shah’s announcement that his team would not be participating in the 2023 World Cup.
