Let us inform you here that on Wednesday, veteran radical separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani passed away.
After his death, the administration had completely stopped mobile and internet service in the Kashmir Valley.
Keeping in view that the situation should not worsen, traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was also closed for three days.
However, three days ago, now once again everything is back to normal in the Kashmir Valley.
Mobile internet service was suspended in Srinagar and Budgam till today after the opening of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway and the restoration of broadband internet service and mobile service.
On receiving the news of Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s death, IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar, SP, and ASP, along with other senior police officers reached his residence.
The police officers first met Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s family members and expressed their consolation with them.
After the consent of the relatives, Geelani was buried in the cemetery near the house in the early hours of Thursday.

Keeping this in view, mobile internet service will be restored in Srinagar and Budgam districts from 7 pm today. This will give relief to the students.
