IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar visited several places in Srinagar. IGP set out on a visit to Srinagar, instructed police-security forces to make Corona lockdown effective.

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar visited several places in Srinagar today to take stock of the arrangements made during the corona lockdown.

During this time, he spoke to the soldiers on duty in different areas and instructed them to make the lockdown effective.

Those who are roaming the city without mosques or needlessly outside their homes, behave strictly with them.

This lockdown is implemented for the betterment of the people and everyone should follow it for the betterment of themselves and others.

The IGP was accompanied by officers from IG CRPF Srinagar, DIG CKR, SSP Srinagar, and other police and security forces.

They visited Nishat, Foreshore Road, Habbak, Lalbazar, Jadibal, Nauhatta, Bohri Kadal, Rajouri Kadal (Mirwaiz Manzil), Sakidafer, Kamarwari, Parimpora, Hyderpora, Baghat, Santanagar, and Panthachowk areas.

The IGs also talked to people during this time. They added that the aim of the lockdown is to protect people’s lives and prevent the spread of Covid-19 infection.

Both IGs praised the role of the police and security forces working on the ground.

They said that these soldiers of police and security forces are ready to serve 24 × 7 people, regardless of their own lives, like the warriors of the front line.

They are also at risk of getting infected. In such a situation, people should cooperate.

This silence narrates a lot in Kashmir; The separatist camp is silent, Pakistan too restless

Today is the anniversary of Mirwaiz Farooq Ahmed, former chairman of Awami Action Committee and Founder of People’s Conference, Chairman Abdul Ghani Lone.

For the first time, there is no strike or rally in Kashmir. The entire separatist camp in Kashmir is silent. Somewhere both leaders are mentioned on the internet media.

People’s Democratic Party and National Conference are the leaders in mainstream politics. The separatists sitting in Pakistan are silently silent in Kashmir.

Whether the son of the late Mirwaiz Farooq Ahmed and chairman of the liberal Hurriyat, Mirwaiz Maulvi Umar Farooq or Sajjad Gani Lone, son of Abdul Ghani Lone, is also not holding a rally or any procession on 21 May.

Mirwaiz Farooq Ahmed was killed by Hizbul Mujahideen militants in his house on 21 May 1990.

On 21 May 2002, Abdul Gani Lone was gunned down by terrorists at a rally to commemorate the anniversary of Mirwaiz Farooq in Idgah Srinagar.

Opposing the presence of foreign terrorists in Lone Kashmir, they were insisting on adopting a solution to the Kashmir issue through electoral politics.
