Inauguration Of HAL’s Second LCA Production Line Today

Inauguration of HAL’s second LCA production line today, Defense Minister arrives in Bengaluru. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Bangalore on Tuesday.

He inaugurated the production line of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) second LCA (Light Combat Aircraft) here. Under the deal, the delivery of Tejas LCA to the Air Force will begin in March 2024.

The Defense Minister gave this information through his Twitter handle. Along with this, he also told that he will also attend the Aero India show to be held there from February 3, which was a rehearsal in Bengaluru today.

It will also include the American aircraft B1Lancer. Don Heflin, who is looking at US affairs in India, said, “This year our aerial display will feature our flagship aircraft B-1 Lancer. For the first time, it has participated in Aero India.

The Union Defense Minister said, “Today’s inauguration fulfills our pledge of self-reliant India.

This will carry the message to other countries of the world that we want to be self-sufficient in the field of technology and production and for this, the Government of India is very serious.

The Defense Minister said, “Tejas is not only indigenous but is far superior to its level foreign fighter aircraft in many standards. These standards include engine capacity, radar systems as well as price. ‘

In his address after the inauguration, the Defense Minister said, “How long we will depend on other countries for the security of the country, we cannot depend for long.”

We all have this resolve that whatever we have to make, we will try to make it ourselves and protect the border and our self-respect.

He further added, ‘I have been informed that there is an interest in Tejas M1A from various countries and I assure you that orders will be received from other countries soon.’

Before leaving for Bangalore from Delhi, he wrote, ‘Today I am going to Bengaluru for the production line inauguration of the second LCA of HAL and will be attending the Aero India show to be held from February 3 to 5.’

He further explained that despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 epidemic, the participation of people in the show is encouraging.

The meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security held last month was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this, he approved the largest indigenous defense agreement.

The deal is worth 48 thousand crores under which 83 LCA Tejas fighter aircraft will be developed.

Last month, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh visited the BEML (Bharat Earth Movers Limited) production center in Bangalore and inaugurated the country’s first indigenously developed driverless metro car.
