Rajnath Singh has told in the Rajya Sabha today that the Indo-China LAC has reached an agreement on the Pangong Lake dispute and now the armies of both the countries will withdraw their troops from here.

Both forces will retreat from Pangong Lake

Rajnath Singh said in the Rajya Sabha that since September 2020, talks have been taking place at the Indian and Chinese armies and at the political level.

He said that Pangong Lake has been compromised to the south and north. They told that both sides would withdraw their forces. Rajnath Singh informed that when both the armies would withdraw completely.

Even then there will be a meeting between the two countries within 48 hours. China will be on Finger 8 and India will be on Finger 3. The same will be done on the northern border.

Rajnath Singh said that the border will be made before April 2020. He said that patrolling will not happen now. Patrolling will resume after the agreement is reached. There are still some issues that will continue to be discussed further.

In the Rajya Sabha, Rajnath Singh said in strong words that China has occupied the land of India but we will not leave even an inch of our land.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh further said that China had tried to enter around LAC last year. Ammunition was also collected last year.

China has been occupying the territory of Ladakh unofficially since 1962, Pakistan has also given our land to China. China occupies 43 thousand square kilometers in an unauthorized manner. This has affected the relationship between China and India.

In the Rajya Sabha, Rajnath Singh said that we are committed to maintaining a peaceful position along the Line of Control.

India has always insisted on maintaining bilateral relations. He said that our security forces have proved that they are ready to face any challenge to protect the sovereignty of the country.

Since then tensions between the two countries continued. Meanwhile, nine rounds of military talks also took place between the two countries.
