India-Australia 2+2 Ministerial dialogue: Foreign Minister Jaishankar met his Australian counterpart, Penny Wong, and expressed happiness by tweeting.

On Tuesday morning, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Australian Foreign Minister Wong Yin-hyun in Delhi to participate in the Foreign Ministers’ Dialogue.

The two leaders will discuss the deepening of the strategic partnership.

Jaishankar posted on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), ‘Delighted to welcome Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong to Hyderabad House this morning.

The Framework consultations between foreign ministers will advance our strategic partnership.

Bilateral relations between India and Australia grew rapidly.

During the meeting, Jaishankar said that bilateral relations between India and Australia have developed rapidly and have a significant impact on the region.

He described the partnership between India and Australia in the Quad as “very beneficial” for bilateral relations and the Indo-Pacific region.

Wong praised India.

Meanwhile, Wong participated in exhibitions of Australian First Nations artists at the Australian High Commission and praised the cultures of the two countries,

He said “We really want to bring together the relationship between Aboriginal culture and Indian culture. ”

Earlier on Monday, India-Australia 2+2 ministerial talks were held in which External Affairs Minister Jaishankar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh participated along with their Australian counterparts.

In his opening remarks, Wong said Canberra deeply values its bilateral relations with New Delhi, adding that it is “important for the region” where sovereignty is respected.
