India China Talks: 7th round of talks positive, but no immediate result. Despite heavy tension and tension on the diplomatic and military front, India and China have agreed to continue the round of negotiations to resolve the military confrontation over the LAC in eastern Ladakh.

In the seventh round of commander-level talks held on Monday, there has been no immediate result of the solution. But India and China agreed that the negotiations will continue until an acceptable solution is found to both countries of the deadlock.

The concrete outcome of this important military-level dialogue was not expected much anyway.

The joint statement was issued by the two countries on Tuesday over marathon talks that lasted more than 12 hours in India’s Chushul sector in eastern Ladakh.

The joint statement issued by the Indian Army said that in the Commander-level talks, both sides have a serious, deep, and constructive discussion on the issue of removing troops on LAC in the western sector of the India-China border.

The joint statement also mentions the agreement reached between the foreign ministers of the two countries on 10 September. It said that India and China have agreed not to let mutual differences in dispute and jointly maintain peace in the border areas.

At the same time, India and China have also agreed to implement a critical understanding between their leaders seriously.

Given the slow pace of ongoing military and diplomatic level talks between the two countries to end military confrontation on the LAC, there is growing apprehension that the armies of the two countries deployed on several inaccessible front fronts of eastern Ladakh are frosty.

They can stand face to face even in the snowy season. Seeing the seriousness of the confrontation with the Chinese Army, the Indian Army and Air Force have already transported them from equipment to equipment to keep the troops stationed there in the adverse weather of frost.
