India Could Not Reach The Semi-finals Of T20 World Cup 2021

India could not reach the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2021, Virat Kohli’s dream of winning the title was shattered.

Before the T20 World Cup 2021, the Indian team was being seen as a strong contender for the title win this time.

It was also not wrong because the Indian team was looking very strong and it seemed that this team would definitely do something special under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, but it could not happen.

New Zealand defeated Afghanistan by 8 wickets to break the Indian team’s hopes of reaching the semi-finals.

Now New Zealand has become the second team after Pakistan from Group B to reach the semi-finals while England and Australia have reached the semi-finals from Group A.

Team India’s way to reach the semi-finals would have opened when Afghanistan’s team was successful in defeating New Zealand, but it did not happen.

The Indian team started this tournament very poorly and in the very first match.

India was defeated by Pakistan and then in the second league match, New Zealand completely gave up and defeated India by 8 wickets.

India could not reach the semi-finals: After these two defeats, the equation of Team India deteriorated badly.

Although India made a tremendous improvement in its run rate by registering big wins against Afghanistan and Scotland in the third and fourth league matches.

The Kiwi team spoiled the whole game of India by defeating Afghanistan. After this, the dream of winning the title of Virat Kohli, who was playing his last T20 World Cup as captain, was also shattered.

Four teams Pakistan, England, Australia, and New Zealand have reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2021.

Now the first semi-final match of this tournament will be played on November 10 in Abu-Dhabi while the second semi-final match will be played on November 11 in Dubai.

After this, the final match will be held on 14 November in Dubai itself.

Talking about the points table, in Group A, England and Australia stood on the basis of net run rate in the first and second place with 8-8 points.

In Group B, New Zealand and Pakistan stood first and second on the basis of net run rate with 8-8 points.
